The Duchy of Rednath is on the northern side of the Kafrin River and is hemmed in by the Dorunth Mountains. The capital of this duchy is Elras, a thriving riverfront city. While Rednathmen are renown merchants, much of their wealth comes from timber and rogethien, the strong red-hued metal.

This duchy is where the religion of the Oneness of God and Man originated. Their spiritual leader, the Prelate, has always been a Rednathman even though any of the Primates are eligible for elevation when the sitting Prelate dies. The Prelate in 774 is known as His Eminence.
